It’s true that many wild animals kill and eat other animals, so why shouldn’t we? The difference is that we do not need to eat animals to survive, whereas carnivores like lions do have to eat other animals to survive. We can easily get all the nutrients we need from plants, without killing animals. How can we justify eating animals if we don’t have to? Plus, is it really a good idea to base what we do on what animals do in the wild?
